1. What does L-Citrulline do?
Many of L-Citrulline's effects come as an indirect effect of increasing L-arginine (Gonzalez & Trexler 2020). In fact, citrulline is far more effective at increasing arginine, than compared to consumption of arginine itself (Rashid et al. 2020)!
Arginine feeds into the synthesis of nitric oxide, which directly increases vasodilation (dilation of the blood vessels) and thus blood flow. Whilst still unclear, vasodilation is possibly the main contributing factor of citrulline's benefits (Aguayo 2021). The result being increased oxygen delivery to the muscles as well as removing inflammatory proteins that induce muscular fatigue ultimately aids in health, endurance and muscle recovery (Aguayo 2021).
2. Is L-Citrulline safe?
Yes, L-Citrulline has not been associated with any health risks. Consumption has been shown safe at recommended dosages (Gonzalez & Trexler 2020).
Even at an incredibly high dose of 15 grams, gastric discomfort is not common. However, if you are concerned Citrulline is contributing to gastric distress, we recommend splitting your 6 grams, into 2 grams servings split throughout the day.
3. What's the difference between L-Citrulline and Citrulline Malate?
Citrulline Malate is L-Citrulline with the addition of DL-Malate. Malate is an intermediary of the Krebs energy cycle. In theory, supplementing with malate could increase ATP production (Gough et al. 2021).
Currently, there is no direct scientific comparison between the two and there is likely to be significant overlap in their effects. However, our pure L-Citrulline is tailored for improving vascular, brain and body health, whilst our L-Citrulline malate is designed for the gym, track or road.

The products are very good quality and they arrived in very short time.
The first time I ordered this product I had no issues at all. I was very happy. The second time, several months later, I received the same product but the taste of the powder was off. The powder tastes moldy. I’ve never left a negative review on Ebay, but I was very dissapointed with my experience. 50 something dollars straight to the bin basically.
